Mei Yen Wong (Grace), the principal teacher and founder of Lexis Academy (Malaysia) has taught English for over a decade.
In 2020, she began exploring synchronous and asynchronous computer-mediated-communication learning with her students.
Since then, she has transitioned to a full-time online tutor, guiding young learners (from the age of 5), teenagers and college/university students from diverse locations in developing their English language proficiency.
Grace holds a first-class Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages) from the University of Auckland, where she received the first-in-course award in
computer-assisted language learning. Her passion for teaching extends beyond imparting
language skills. She encourages students to develop positive values, creativity, confidence
and self-regulation through a supportive learning environment.
